This old “North Sea Pirate” is still broadcasting today, both on Sky Digital Radio (Channel 0199) and online at radiocaroline.co.uk. In addition to their loyal fan base Radio Caroline continues to gather new listeners from all around the world.

Starting next week (July 26th) our professionally produced voice ads will also begin appearing during the programme that covers the weekly draw of the Daily Quiz on Monday mornings, as well as appearing randomly at other times.

TerraNetwork is proud to be helping this old Pirate Radio Station carry on the good work that helped it define the music that people loved to listen to during and from the 60’s and 70’s in particular.

And this week Radio Caroline can be found broadcasting from and exhibiting at the “London 60s Week” at the O2 Arena.

TerraNetwork can now truly say that it provides “Web Hosting That Rocks!”

Now that we have two new cPanel servers online and will switch earlier servers (using Ensim Pro control panels) over to cPanel it gives us the opportunity to offer own-branded name servers to Resellers. Details are not yet finalised but there will be an additional charge for this service if you request it.

What this means for Resellers is that your customers need not be asked to repoint their domains to our name servers, because you would have your own name servers for people to point their domains to. This, combined with the removal of the redirection of cPanel users to our SSL Certified address, will allow for complete white-labelling of our Reseller service.

For Resellers who grow to the point where they need their own Managed Dedicated Server from us this will also ease the transition from one server to another.

As soon as we finalise this new service we’ll add it to our site and post news of it here.

Best Wishes – Rhea

For the past week our new Enterprise server has been online. During that time we have been moving some of the more high-usage sites that were on our Stargate server over to Enterprise. These, and other actions we have taken, have restored Stargate to its previous stable state.

Once the busy Christmas and New Year trading period is over we shall move further sites from Stargate to Enterprise.

The following servers are now brand-spanking new – Stargate, Pegasus, Enterprise – and no other server is more than 18 months old.

Each new server we bring online has the best spec available at that time, but we also upgrade other servers to keep their spec as close as we can to the newer servers. So when Stargate was swapped out for a brand new unit RAM was increased to 16 Gigabytes and Atlantis has also been upgraded to 16 Gigabytes of RAM.

Because of the lack of development by Parallels of the Ensim Pro control panels both Pegasus and Enterprise use the WHM/cPanel combination.

In the New Year, tentatively scheduled for February, other shared servers will be switched from using Ensim Pro to using WHM/cPanel. WHM/cPanel gives customers access to greater features than offered by Ensim Pro – including the ability to set up your own Cron Jobs, total control of your Spam Filters, and the use of Fantastico DeLuxe for auto-installs of many popular pieces of software.

Edith, Rhea and the team at TerraNetwork wish all of our customers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and prosperous New Year.
