"Fully integrated": customers stay on your site (payments are processed in the background). Usually an internet merchant id is required.

"Partially integrated": customers go offsite to pay and then come back. A simple solution useful for start-ups.

How to choose?

There is no "best" solution which fits all. When choosing a payment provider, consider

  • whether you have or are able to obtain your own internet merchant id
  • if you need to take multi-currency payments
  • what kind of cards you want to be able to accept
  • whether you need to take payments also by phone/writing (MoTo orders)
  • the processing costs of taking payments
  • how long it takes to release funds to your account (cash flow)

ReadyCart Payment Modules

ReadyCart comes pre-installed with the following modules:

ProtxProtx VSP Direct Integration

With Protx Direct you can take credit/debit card payments directly on your site, so customers never leave your shop. This means that checkout is quick and simple, and customers only see your site during checkout. On the admin side, you can view payment details and issue refunds (inc partial refunds) directly from your shop admin area. Our most popular payment module!

SecPaySecPay Premium XML integration

For Premium accounts, we can offer a direct integration of SecPay with your shop where customers never leave your site. Payments are taken directly on your shops payment page, which significantly shortens the checkout and keeps customers on your own branded website during the payment process.

HSBCHSBC Secure ePayments - CPI

With Secure ePayments (CPI), once customers are ready to pay for an order, they are transferred to HSBC's Secure ePayments server to complete their card payment. This has the benefit of showing that you are linked to HSBC and therefore offers your customer additional peace of mind. Once the payment is complete, your customer is transferred back to your site.

Requirements: HSBC secure e-payments merchant account, access to the exec function or the mhash and mCrypt functions, a secure server with either a dedicated or shared SSL certificate installed. All TerraNetwork hosting plans meet these requirements.

HSBCHSBC Secure ePayments - API with 3D Secure

The HSBC API payment module seamlessly integrates into ReadyCart and allows customers to pay for their order without ever leaving your site. The shop admin can also settle, void and partially credit orders from within the ReadyCart admin. For failed AVS checks, a message will be displayed, allowing the shop admin to either Accept or Reject the order.

Requirements: HSBC secure e-payments merchant account, secure server with a dedicated SSL certificate installed, Zend Optimiser, openSSL. All TerraNetwork hosting plans meet these requirements.

Barclay'sBarclay's ePDQ (CPI)

With ePDQ (CPI), customers pay for their order via Barclay's secure site. Once payment is complete, your customer is transferred back to your site.

PayPalPayPal Express

PayPal Express integrates with your shop, so that customers with PayPal accounts have a quicker checkout. Unlike the standard IPN module, PayPal Express does not require the customer to return to your shop after paying.

PayPalPayPal Pro & Express

Paypal Pro offers a completely integrated solution, whereby customers can quickly pay with their credit/debit card directly in the shop without having to go through the PayPal checkout. The module is combined with PayPal Express to handle both customers with and without PayPal accounts.

Existing Paypal customers can simply click the Express Checkout button to go directly to Paypals site to pay for their order. Alternatively, non Paypal customers can enter their credit card information and complete their order in the normal way.

WorldpayWorldPay

WorldPay offers either WorldDirect or BankDirect accounts. Both are suitable for integration with ReadyCart. Customers go offsite to WorldPay to pay via credit/debit card and then return to your shop.
